Let the grumpy old corporal punishment begin.

... is she going to increase capital spending then blame wages of city employees for raising taxes??? That story is getting
old!

Indeed, Ed. If there's to be punishment, let it be Corporal!

I can think of no better way to straighten out a good few politicians--at all levels of government and on all sides--than a round of good spankings.

"I'm going to count to ten, and if the budget isn't balanced by the time I get to ten...."

The gutting the city's reserve is the beginning of what we've yet to learn. And I bet it ain't gonna be good.

bscman - its always the workers who get it in the neck for problems caused by the elites in management.

GoC. Its not just the politicians. They are essentially rubber stamps. The management who led us into a mess - there is no realistic mechanism to deal with them. For them, its all just another day at the office to bask on the sunshine list..

Just "beverages and light snacks"?

No antipasto, stromboli or espressini?

Did Googlicious Maggie not bring back any useful skills?

HI D.C.
Sure she brought back some skills-
Like spying on her neighbours to see why they
are complaining about paying more taxes when
they have two cars in the drive way.(and not a
bike instead).Swearing in council.
pushing thru projects on council that fails
then not taking the heat for it.
And the best for last-saying stupid things in
council to cover up the screw ups from our
mayor(her friend).

Dave Sills, President of the Guelph Civic League was our special guest during the second hour of Beyond the Ballot Box on CFRU 93.3fm on Monday March 19 (8-9 a.m.)

This should be especially interesting to those on here who insist that the GCL are apologists for the current administration at City Hall.
