A crew from one of the city's 20 Tim Hortons outlets has been judged by the company to offer the best and most accurate order taking/serving among all Ontario Timmies shops.
Below is a press release issued by the company. I'm trying to see if the firm will give up which local outlet has the prize-winning staffers.
OAKVILLE, ON (November 22, 2012) – One of Guelph’s twenty Tim Hortons restaurants has been recognized as one of the best among the company’s nearly 100,000 employees in a chain-wide competition to identify the fastest and friendliest teams who deliver the best customer service.
The company’s Tim Cup Challenge pitted nearly 900 restaurants across Canada and the United States against each other in an event that measured their speed, order accuracy and friendliness. The team from Guelph, “Timtastic Trio”, beat out more than 400 other Ontario restaurants to be recognized as hospitality champions in their province and move on to the final competition.
“We know people have many restaurant options these days but we know our amazing restaurant teams are an important part of why our guests come back time and time again,” said Sandra Sturgess, Director of Hospitality, Tim Hortons. “We wanted to celebrate our teams in a fun way so we created the national Tim Cup Challenge to recognize and reward those team members who provide the best customer service.”
The final national competition was held yesterday in Ottawa and while another team took the top honour, the Guelph finalists received $2,000 per team member and of course, bragging rights for being the fastest and friendliest Tim Hortons in Ontario.
My guess is the Imperial & Woodlawn location, or the Woodlawn & Edinburgh Road one. They are both awesome! Great customer service at both!

Tims got back to me. It's the outlet at Bullfrog Mall.
