I don't understand how Costco is still able to charge a membership for shopping at their stores. It's no longer an 'elite store' where only certain people can obtain a membership, it's open to everyone, so why have to pay to shop? Their prices aren't that great compared to other stores so you really have to get some good deals to make it worth the annual membership.
