Wondering like I was why Garret Sparks didn't start in net against Mississauga?
Turns out Sparks was a little tardy in returning to Guelph from his home in Illinois after the Christmas break and missed the practice on Boxing Day.
He was spoken to, at length, and missed the start against the Majors.
In keeping with the new team mantra, all players are treated equal. Something that wasn't always the case last year.

#8 & #4 were the on-ice definition of tardy, especially on the Majors shorty to finish the 2nd period. Peeee-ewwwww, that one stunk.
